one of the biggest problems facing america is that "some people" think they shouldn't have to pay their fair share around here, but are more than happy to collect the benefits of the "American Way of Life"™. When that happens, us hard working folk are taxed to foot the bill for these freeloaders...

A business's ability to avoid taxes is a major factor in its profitability. When I was investing more I had spread sheets showing their combined tax laibilities and made decisions about where to invest largely based on that. It is built into their business models. If they pay more in taxes it usually just translates into higher costs to the consumer. Those executives deserve their huge salaries, benefits, and total lack of personal responsibility. 
Now a more equitable personal income tax might hit those LLC and S Corps a little harder. Flat tax! Take some time to learn about the Libertarian Party. (Unfortunately we don't have a strong candidate this year)
